of becoming AS9100 certified by QMI, North America's leading
management systems registrar. IPG earned an impressive 97.7% rating-
notches above the industry standard of 91%. AS9100
certification is the gold standard in the aerospace industry and is
recognized as the industry benchmark worldwide. The
certification is reserved only for companies capable of successfully
processing and documenting aerospace work and committed to providing
excellent service. This registration means that all current
and perspective Aerospace Suppliers can confidently rely on IPG’s
quality system to deliver the highest level of quality workmanship
and documentation for their aerospace work.

IPG Awarded Quality Certification
by Messier Dowty
October 2007
Messier Dowty is the world leader in the manufacture of landing gear
equipment. They are the only approved landing gear supplier for the
787 Dreamliner aircraft and own the exclusive design rights for the
787 Dreamliner aircraft landing gear. Messier Dowty presented IPG
with a Quality Certificate of Approval on August 29, 2007. The
certificate verifies that IPG’s Quality Management System meets the
quality requirements to perform work on certain landing gear
components for the 787 Dreamliner from 2007 through 2011. Messier
Dowty officials visited IPG last year and performed a quality audit
on the facility. The quality system was approved from this audit.
IPG to be AS 9100 Certified
by November of
2007
July 2007
Beginning this month, IPG will be undergoing the rigorous process of
adding to its ISO 9001-2000 Certification by implementing the AS
9100 Quality Standard. This standard is an addition to ISO 9000-2000
standard and is specifically targeted to achieve, maintain, and
document quality performance in the processing of Aerospace and
Aeronautical Parts. IPG expects to gain certification by November of
2007.
IPG Awarded “Qualified
Source Status”
by Hamilton Sundstrand
April 2007
Hamilton Sundstrand, A United Technologies Company, has awarded “Qualified Source Status” to IPG for the D5 (Trident II) Missile Program Prime Contractor. This status was approved by Lockheed Martin Missiles & Space Company of Sunnyvale, California.
This qualifies IPG to be a prime source of grinding operations of
the turbine wheel part of the Trident II missile.
IPG Awarded “Dock to Stock”
Certification from Cook Urological
January 2007
IPG received recognition from Cook Urological of Spencer, Indiana for meeting the requirements of Cook’s “Dock to Stock” program. This award acknowledges that IPG was able to meet stringent quality requirements that allow Cook Urological to provide safe and effective surgical products to their customers.
